Our Story

Prakash and Arjun' s journey in hospitality began back in their heady 20s, when they first met while working at Mortdale RSL Club in Sydney. They have worked long hours together, serving up great food and learning the ropes of the industry. Those late nights and hard-earned successes forged a deep friendship and a shared passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Arjun's hospitality career took off in 2009 in the Sutherland Shire, where he quickly made a name for himself with his dedication and skill. Prakash, not far behind, joined the scene in 2015 as a chef at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney, sharpening his culinary expertise in one of the city's top establishments.

Drawing on their combined experience, Prakash and Arjun began to mastermind a series of successful local dining concepts, each a reflection of their passion for food and commitment to quality. Their vision culminated in the creation of Happy Daze, with thriving locations in Ashfield and Waterloo, Sydney. Together, they've built something special-bringing their expertise, passion, and years of hard work into a place where great food and great company meet.
